The product was obviously re packaged and returned by some dissatisfied customer. It had a protruding post that was wrapped in cardboard and cheap packaging tape. But the clincher was the extension post inside the box — someone had bent it at a serious angle to o make it fit in the box. See photo below. I took a hammer to it and forced it back into a semi straight position. Also, it was supposed to be green like weathered copper, but most of that appeared to have washed off. I only kept the thing bkz it would be a hassle to package it to return it and I was putting it in a spot where the bent up pole would not be visible. Would not recommend this product and makes me question the folks at Wayfair for shipping severely damaged goods. There was no damage to the box. No way that post got bent except by someone on purpose.

Great birdhouse! It will shelter a number of families, and in-laws. As well, it will make a perfect addition to the garden.
