The chairs are great. They look good, are comfortable and feel solid. Why not 5 stars? 1. I ordered 2 chairs. The front piece of 1 of the chairs had a shattered plank. I do want to underline that reporting the issue through Wayfair's site was very easy and I received a replacement part within 3 days. That was great. 2. The assembly is not super straightforward. In particular the instructions didn't work for me, especially step 1. You have to get 4 pieces together. Step 1 has you fully connect (and tighten) 2 pieces - when I did that I couldn't fit that pair of pieces with the 3rd one. Instead I relaxed step 1 to only lightly tighten in order to retain some flexibility. 3. The packaging uses styrofoam. For one it's a horrible pollutant that doesn't biodegrade and sheds everywhere. Then, related to that latter point, do budget a fair amount of time, cleaning up styrofoam in whatever room you do the assembly in.
