I returned this item. It has to be plugged in. There was no mention of this in the description. Also the hole for birds was very tiny. I wouldn’t recommend this item with so many other options to choose from.

I think it is ridiculous that the camera doesn't have a rechargeable battery. Am I really expected to run an extension cord across the yard?
