Love this. My daughter is going to use it at her wedding reception for koozies.

Adorable shelf/planter. But be aware that there is no clear coat on the wood. It’s so raw that it will give you splinters by merely touching the wood. I spent and additional $12 on a matte clear varnish which I applied before assembling. That did the trick and it looks great. I also repainted the chalkboard with chalk paint. It was so hard and slippery and did not play well with chalk. Would have been fine with chalk markers, but that’s not what I wanted to use.

Super cute! Wood is pretty cheap quality. Would only purchase for lightweight items, and definitely not something to keep out in the weather. The nails are essentially tiny finish nails, so they don’t hold especially well in the event that someone bumps into the stand with any weight. For example, you may lose a bottom slat of a shelf and have to pop it back in, but it won’t stay well again unless you resecure with another fastener or some kind (tiny screw, etc).
