Table base is sturdy. First delivery 6 out of nine tiles were broken, some smashed. Wayfair customer service responded immediately and sent over a brand new table. This time 2 of the 9 tiles broke in half from the weight of the metal table, and 3 chipped. I did not bother to call. Just exchanged the unbroken tiles from the first table. And learn to live with the 2 chipped ones.
