Plant Grow Light

Package arrived intact and in a timely manner. It seems to be a decent size for a grow light and is extremely bright. I like that you can hang it so it covers a larger area for putting plants in garage. I wish it had an off switch, you have to unplug it.

Pros Very lightweight and extremely bright red and blue spectrum grow light. It has a simple but effective metal hanger that attaches with clips and has a hook for hanging. Cons The cord is probably heavier than the light - it’s the thick black heavy kind you would expect on an appliance. The cord is pretty short so you have to use it near an outlet. The main issue I would say is there is no on and off switch - that actually astonished me. It seems like - for the price it’s sold at - it should have a switch and even a timer built in, for its purpose. All in all, it’s hard to recommend - I’ve hung it from a ceiling hook but now need to get a smart plug to operate it on a schedule.

It came with everything that you need, and was very easy to assemble. Very light can be hung literally on the curtains. Does not have an off button, so I plugged it into an extension cord with a switch do not look directly at it literally feels like looking into the sun makes the whole room shade of purple and I bet it’s a pretty cool look from the outside. The actual colors of the lights are alternating blue and red. Seems like it will do well for the plants.

We need supplemental lighting to keep our plants alive as they come inside for the winter here in Ohio. So far it appears to be doing the job needed as our plants are still flourishing. Delivered quickly and well packaged. The downside would be that it does not have an ON/OFF switch so you need to unplug to turn off. It does make the entire room turn purple from the glow of the light but we don't plan to keep it on 24/7. In my opinion, these downsides are really quite minimal so I would still recommend. Planning to come back by end of winter for final confirmation that my plants survived winter inside with the help of this Grow Light.

So this puts off a lot more light around than I thought so I gave it four stars because it lights up my whole kitchen and living room and I didnt want that I wanted it to go more down on my plants instead of spread out so I dont know that much about them this may be great but its not working for me but Im being honest and letting you know that I dont know anything about it could be a great product
