Even though this is a beautiful table, after only having it for 5 months, something weird happened to it. The top looks like it melted in one place. It was a warm day (99F), but it is in the shade and even if it was in the sun, it should be able to withstand that temperature. I had nothing on the table that could have caused it. I contacted Wayfair and the manufacturer immediately accused me of putting something really hot on it, which I did not do and there was nothing else on the table. When you look at the pictures it looks like something could have been put on it, but there was nothing on it. I would never put anything really hot on any table directly on the surface and if I had, responsible for it, I would not post this review, but assume responsibility.
