[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. The haunted Hill Farm standing magician is animatronic and tall, standing at about 6.2! Is it scary looking? Yes! Everyone who has stopped by so far has said the same, even before turning it on. The magician is motion activated. Right away, its eyes light up red, its head turns, and then it talks in a scary voice. Then, out of nowhere, the rabbit, already protruding from the hat, JUMPS higher out of the hat and makes a mechanical noise in doing so! If the rabbit launching a bit higher doesn’t give you the jump scare, the mechanical noise it makes will (the mechanical noise I think is maybe a spring type of mechanism). Once the scare is complete, the rabbit moves back down slightly all by itself. The magician seems very sturdy and comes with stakes for the yard. It was easy to assemble by matching the letters of the polls to the matching letters. This was very clear in the instructions. While the assembly felt very self-explanatory, I think the written instructions fell a little short when it came to connecting the wires. But again, easy to figure out as the colors of the wires are clearly marked and easy to locate its mate. At first, I had the “try me“ button connected, and went through two sets of four AA batteries pretty quick. I have since unplugged the button and have it on motion (or off when not in use). This last set of batteries are still holding up. Unfortunately, I do not see a way to plug it into an outlet instead of batteries. This is my first animatronic Halloween decoration, so I don’t have any others to compare it to, but I don’t think it will be my last. It’s large and scary and so far a big hit, so I can see myself getting it a few friends in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Haunted HILL farm animated magician animatronic was easy to put together. The instructions were clear and I honestly didn’t expect it to scare me the way it did. The rabbit pops up out of the hat quick! I know it will be effective during Halloween lol the eye light up and it talks too.
