Very cute planter with a lot of personality. It is much higher quality than I expected and, for resin, this feels quite heavy. A nursery pot would fit perfectly inside the top. I would not recommend planting a plant directly into it. There are no drainage holes and it is hollow down to the feet. 

Oh my goodness! This whimsical Harmony Old Man Planter Pot is exactly what I was looking for to put alittle spunk in my garden! I bought both the man and woman, which are super cute together! I am so excited to plant flowers in them come spring! *****5 STARS to you Wayfair!! Another fantastic purchase! :)

What a cute grumpy old man! I can’t wait for summer to plant a fern in him. He’s sturdy and plenty big, although I wouldn’t mind him a little bigger. He’ll look great on a deck or front yard. He might be a little scary if he’s in the house LOL. Great addition to the landscaping.
