These chairs are just ok. I put them together within an hour and stained the wood to help protect them from the elements. My only complaint is after a couple months we went to sit in them and the wood cracked and they partially broke. My husband ended up using long screws to "fix" them so we could continue using them. We are 130 and 180 lbs. The chairs should have been able to support our weight...

These are awful. Solid only in that they are not liquid. They splinter and feel like they are made of wood salvaged from a fire. It’s brittle and not sturdy at all.

These Adirondack chairs would be easier to assemble if the predrilled holes were completely predrilled. On one chair, the predrilled holes (including the extra one) must have been drilled on a Monday morning, while the person who drilled them was feeling the effects of the Sunday binge. Fortunately, the extra hole is covered by the arm. Also, use a ratchet set and a cordless screwdriver (and not the flimsy tool and a screwdriver) to assemble; you will be happier. I like the chairs, now that they are assembled.
