This is a chair for someone that doesn't mind DIY projects. You will want a power drill/screwdriver, a pair of socket wrenches or a socket wrench and pair of pliers, a tape measure, and possibly a small square. It comes in 7 pieces the bottom, the back, 2 arm rests, 2 armrest supports, and the back crosspiece. There are some pre-drilled holes but you will need to measure for and make a good number yourself. The stain looks good but I'm not sure how weather proof it is, and you may want to put a coat of poly on it. It is solid wood but the cedar doesn't feel as super sturdy. The chair seat is also very deep and may not be comfortable for shorter people. With a $250 price point I would recommend against this. I've seen similar chairs in a nice solid oak are easier to assemble at a comparable price. If you find it on sale, then it may be worth it for you.

I’m loving these chairs! I ordered two of them for our yard and everyone enjoys sitting in them. They’re very comfortable and they were simple to put together. They came packaged very nicely too. I’m really happy with my choice

Super easy to assemble- just a few screws. It looks rustic with a faded grey paint job. Hence a little rough to sit on but a great angle. I’m sure with being out in the elements it will get smoother. Nice to have solid wood!

This is a nice looking Adirondack chair. I like the color even more in person than in the photo - it’s a stained blue gray that looks really nice in the yard. I did find it a little tricky to put together. In particular, Step 3, where you attach the seat back to the base with two screws, there wasn’t an indication of where the screws should be inserted in the bottom back support. This is kind of a challenging step anyway because you have to prop up the weight of the back while figuring a good spot to start the screws. The seat is deep if you’re on the shorter size so I am using an outdoor throw pillow.

The Adirondack chair was medium difficulty to put together. There weren’t pre drilled holes for about half of what needed to be screwed in— that makes it kind of difficult to make sure you’re putting it together correctly! The parts weren’t labeled either. The chair is very comfortable— it has a deep seat. I wish it wasn’t wood. I worry the longevity of the chair.
