I’ve encountered so many issues with a gazebo I ordered before this. Already disappointed and frustrated, I had to order another one and got this 10x10 hardtop gazebo. Since I’m quite skilled and experienced with building furniture and outdoor structures as such, I was very happy because I managed to assemble the frame all by myself in 5-6 hours. Then, I was able to finish the roof frame as well the next day. Here’s the most frustrating and annoying part - it took me 4 days, spending 4 hours a day peeling off the protective film or the very thin plastic wrap of the roof panels. Imagine, that job was time-consuming and labour-intensive. So, even though I feel that the gazebo is nice, I feel like the product design team of the manufacturer should rethink about this. Hence, the 3-star rating. It was brutal! All that said, it’s a nice gazebo.

Seems like pretty decent quality. The instructions are easy to follow. There are a ton of pieces but that’s the nature of the product. I have a large complaint about the metal roofing, it says to remove “protective film” but it took me 35min to remove it from only one of the 24 metal panels, it peeled like dead skin off a healed sunburn…. Little strips. I tried with the panel cold, then let them warm in the sun, didn’t seem to change anything. I have decided to just install the panels with the plastic film still on them; then once the sun deteriorates it a little, I hope to pressure wash it off. Time will tell on that plan but I’m not waisting hours peeling the panels.

Can you tell me why the roof parts are covered in a cellophane type wrap that is extremely difficult to peel off Otherwise, putting it together would have been fairly easy. This is taking hours to get off.

Nice just what I wanted looks good.
