This playset is cute and works well for younger kids, especially around ages 2–4, but the overall quality is definitely a little subpar for what I expected. The wood and some of the components feel fairly lightweight, so I wouldn’t expect this to be something that lasts for many years or holds up well for bigger kids. The size, however, is great for toddlers and preschoolers. There are plenty of activities between the swings, climbing areas, monkey bars, picnic table and slide without it completely taking over the backyard. My biggest complaint is the safety of a few areas. The opening leading to the slide feels way too open for a toddler, with very little to prevent them from stepping or falling off the platform beside the slide. There are a couple of other areas that I feel require close supervision as well. Overall, it does the job and my child can have a lot of fun with it, but I would recommend it primarily for ages 2–4 with adult supervision. I just wish the materials felt sturdier and a little more thought had been put into the safety features for the younger age group it seems designed for.

Assembly took two adults about four hours. We chose not to attach the picnic bench but leave it on the side. The play set looks exactly as advertised. Some pieces of wood are a little rough and splintery and will need to be sanded. My 5 year old is beyond excited to have this and all he ever wants to do now is play outside on this.
