This is a pretty cool car! I originally got it as a gift for my close friend’s 5 year old son. However, once he stood next to it I realized my mistake. Although the description does indicate ages 3-6, the car is quite small. The birthday boy was able to ride it with easy, but his knees are up closer to his chest. So, we tried his 1 year old sister and it fit her perfect! My bad for not paying close attention to the measurements and honestly, he can still play it, just not for as long as I had hoped. Putting it together was, I’m told, uncomplicated, with simple directions. The buttons do seem to be backwards—forward is reverse, etc., but no big deal. I love the remote control feature! I think it’s a huge win for safety, to be able to take over if your kid is going crazy, or, if your child is simply too small to control it themselves. Kid sis absolutely loved it and put up quite a fight when it was time to go inside!
