The foot stool legs don’t fit. The openings don’t aligned. It is hard to put it together.

I’d give this finished product 5 stars for functionality and use. It doesn’t take up too much space on our small deck and serves its purpose to have a place for my husband to sit and always have his legs up! I removed a star due to the quality of the slats. The back slat almost liked to have a half circle that had been melted into the material, and the edge of one of the arms was worn with paint missing upon arrival. Other than that, I really like the product itself.

Arrived quickly and was well wrapped and in perfect condition. I used scissors to cut off the packaging wrapped around the chair arms and legs. I could hear my scissors scraping the metal and didn't leave a scratch. To assemble, you're sliding one tube piece into another and then bolting them together. If the screw holes don't line up, just gently tap into place like I did on a few. Nice heavy chair and ottoman that is perfect for reading a book outside or just enjoying the scenery.

Set is shipped in one box. Each piece is carefully wrapped - once unwrapped I layed out the pieces and it’s not too difficult to assemble. It’s nice once put together. The foot stool can be a side table too. The directions are vague but once you figure out a specific side must be used for the screw holes to line up- it’s smooth sailing. I added the cushion bc it’s a hard seat.
