Weve had this umbrella for about 2 weeks now. The material is heavy and well made. My husband likes the fact the ribs are fiberglass. This is a great choice and I believe it will last quite a few years.

Very nice umbrella and easy enough to use, but I placed it in the wrong spot in my yard with the 40lb freestanding base - hoping to cast decent shade from the morning sun to protect my patio table and 4 chairs. Unfortunately my table does NOT have a center hole for the umbrella to stand in, and I am not able to move the heavy-ish base around to work with the sun at different times. So...at this point in time I am not using it at all, but that's not the umbrella's fault!
