The pole dimensions listed for this umbrella are not accurate. The listing claims the diameter of the pole is 1.5 inches. I can tell you from experience that it is 1.875 inches. It doesn't sound like a big difference, but when the pole is too big for your existing umbrella base, it certainly becomes one. If you choose to order this umbrella, make sure the umbrella base can accommodate a 2 inch diameter pole. I have yet to figure out if it's even a good umbrella because I can't stand it up outside. 0/10 would not recommend

Don't purchase this item. It is polyester and NOT made of higher quality acrylic Sunbrella fabric advertised. The seller is hoping you won't notice. The only reason we did not return it was that it was too much trouble and they gave us a partial refund - this umbrella may last a couple years instead of the many that we were hoping for.
