Wow! I am so excited about this outdoor Cantilever patio umbrella by Latitude Run! It is 90.6 × 155.6, it is like three umbrellas together! It is easy to put together and winds down when needed. The canvas umbrella is sturdy and strong! The crank and base are also strong! The base holds 88 pounds of sand times two wit very sturdy bags for sand! It looks great on my patio! This outdoor cantilever umbrella is quite good. But it is not perfect. It’s a bit misleading to claim that the umbrella comes with a base. Instead, it comes with the potential for one. The weights visible in the photo weren’t included with this umbrella. The umbrella itself is constructed from high-quality materials and is quite sturdy and easy to set up. However, there’s a flaw in the design. The base is actually a wire frame that includes two empty sandbags, which need to be filled with your own material to serve as weights. I couldn’t determine if these sandbags would be effective in holding the umbrella in place during high winds because I opted for the alternative weights shown in the photos, which are filled with water. Another design flaw is that this particular model of cantilever umbrella cannot rotate on the base. It’s fixed in place. This means if you want to adjust the angle of the umbrella on the vertical axis, you have to move the entire umbrella and base as a single unit. inconvenient.

This Extra-Wide Outdoor Cantilever Patio Umbrella is gorgeous once it’s set-up. The look of it is great, the assembly came with several challenges. First, the small size of the openings on the sandbags make filling them incredibly difficult, so be ready for a mess (and a waste of sand you have to buy from a 3rd party). Second, the item is packed really well, with foam around every hinge… that sounds great, but when we tried to open the umbrella for the first time the foam and tape caused the mechanism to stick and the string that opens the umbrella popped out of the mechanism and the umbrella doesn’t work without it. We had to disassemble and repair the mechanism and reinstall the string. After all that… it looks great. So buy this, but use great caution (and plan for way more time than expected) when assembling.

Weather has not cooperated in putting this up but initial opinions are very good. This umbrella is very large and feels durable. The included base makes this even better to prevent tipping or flying away in the wind. The blue canopy is darker than I was expecting but is still a nice color.

I needed a bigger solution for shade over my extended size patio table during parties, and this cantilever option was a unique solution. Unlike other cantilever umbrellas that are round in shape, this one has a more oblong approach. (It is essentially 3 round umbrellas strung together), so it works well over a long rectangular table, or an outdoor couch/sectional. The umbrella required some assembly, which was easy enough. You'll want to make sure you have sand/pebbles on handle for the base, otherwise you won't be able to open it up without tipping. And I would also recommend checking for all interior bubble wrap and styrofoam before you attach the umbrella to the post. (There was much more than I realized!) All in all, a good find that should do the trick.
