I am using these for succulents, which is a nice use for it. It's made of aluminum (I think?), so I drilled a hole in the bottom for drainage. I will note that it got wet before I put plants in and leaked a bunch of weird rust out afterwards.

the planter looks great! but fyi it is NOT waterproof, you have to line it with waterproof liner or put potted plans with a tray inside of it because it WILL leak
