This metal planter is great. Very heavy and sturdy. No need to worry about it falling due a wind storm. It is multi functional as you can see we used it for porch Christmas decorating. Can be used for all seasons

This planter looks fantastic on my porch—just the right height for a large patio plant and substantial enough to stay put, even in windy conditions. The drainage system works well, preventing water buildup. Assembly was straightforward and took about 20 minutes on my own, though I spent most of that time tightening the bolts. My only gripe is that the hardware feels a bit soft—some of the screws may have stripped during assembly. Fingers crossed I won’t need to take it apart any time soon!

Solid construction and quality material. Has a built in tray with drain hole almost half way up to insure strength of walls when filled with rain soaked dirt. Love that I don’t half to fill entire planter, too! It’s heavy to stay upright in a storm but not so bad I can’t move it if I have to. I ordered black because it will look beautiful under a coat of Rustoleum Hammered Copper. Will try to post pics of that when weather cooperates.

Now that I have one of these, I need a couple more. I love the brown metal look. And for the first time, I didn’t have to fill up the base of a tall or large pot with something other than potting soil. I just plopped the fern in it and it was ready to go. My favorite outside pot and I have many to compare it to!

This rectangular metal outdoor planter is very heavy duty and a lot more sturdy than I expected. Although it was a little tedious to get the nuts and bolts together once the 2 other sides were added to assemble it, the planter is well made. I would suggest assembling this on a smooth surface because the edges will scratch if not careful. Very nice sturdy planter!
