I didn’t notice a lot of vibration when the ball hit the rim, and the ball got a good bounce off the backboard. The net didn’t hang up on itself while we shot baskets. I liked that the backboard wasn’t glass, so I don’t have to worry about it breaking. I also liked that I could adjust the height, and the rebound off the board was consistent. The stand held the basketball goal upright with very little movement. It doesn’t get in the way, making it easier to move around if I wanted to.

What I love is that it is portable - fillable by either sand or water. We have a spot for the hoop but would like to be able to move it easily so we chose the water option. It allows us to empty and move to a new spot since it is quite heavy when filled. The heaviness is necessary as we live in an area that frequently has high winds and toppling over is a very serious issue. I left the assembly to my husband. He didn't seem too frustrated so I take that as a good sign that things went relatively smoothly despite the 105 degree heat that day. It is adjustable for my growing kids. My oldest son especially loved the backboard. He thought it was very cool. The rim and backboard are very sturdy. I don't see it potentially cracking even with a whole neighborhood of kids using it. The rebound is perfect. No one is having to chase balls all over the place. It comes back to you in a relatively reachable area of reach. Overall, this is a very high quality basketball, nicely sized but not too huge that it can't be tucked away when not needed.

The assembly directions were very detailed and easy to follow. I used sand for the base, and once the base was entirely filled, its pretty sturdy. This is a good portable hoop system for a driveway, my 6 and 8 year old can wheel it around. We felt like you get a lot of bang for your buck. As the kids get older we may invest in a bigger in ground basketball hoop system, but this is a great enter level system to start with.

My 3 kids have been asking for a hoop for the driveway, and I am happy to have found a model that not only is very sturdy, but also adjustable. The powder coated steel pole is very solid, I am surprised by how heavy duty it is. The kids like the ball holder built into the base (I appreciate the wheels so we can move it if needed), and they love the rebound sound! No dunks yet, but the rim is solid and heavy duty like the pole. Definitely a fun addition to our yard!
