Repose-pieds Ermont Adirondack

I wanted ottomans so people would be more comfortable with legs up. I’m short, so I really had high hopes for them. They’re hard to straddle when getting into an Adirondack chair. I’m always afraid of a misstep and falling onto the fire table or pit. We have both. I’m only 5 ft. tall so it’s harder for me, but I’m athletic and fairly coordinated, so I can do it, albeit with some fear. My husband found a way to put one chair cover over both chair and ottoman, tying it onto the legs, and then another on top of just the chair. The ottoman is much more comfortable with a cushion on it. However, that does make it harder to move if I’m too close to the fire because they are lashed together. I move my chair regularly, so this is an issue. The finish has not held up. We did leave them outside, uncovered, because it’s a hassle to move them into the garage every night. I wouldn’t buy them again, but my husband would. He’s 6 ft. tall.

Wonderful foot stools. Just the right angle for comfort.

Slopes a bit too quickly for comfort. Otherwise nice.
