There was a QA issue with an exposed/smashed wire that fried the control board (issue with initial assembly - so FYI they dont do a final QA on these things before they get to you). LG sent me a non-wifi board to get me by and also sent me a new wifi board so now I have a backup in case something goes wrong. I was initially not happy given the price tag and the circumstance but this smoker/grill is awesome and will recommend it (grill grate is game changing, overall quality is better than a Traeger, best looking smoker on the market). Note: Support is not that technically helpful, but its do-able if you are somewhat technically competent and you will have a great smoker/grill.

While I haven't began cooking/smoking yet with my new vertical smoker, I spoke to Zach at the 877 number to make sure that the smoker was properly primed. Zach was quite helpful and polite. Somehow, my unit lost the circular button on the control knob. Zach promptly arranged for an entire control board, a part of which is the control knob, to be sent to me.

From ordering to first cook the LG1200 has been a dream. Easy to assemble and get ready for grilling. Also love having the ability to connect via Bluetooth and/or our WiFi. Delivery was through FedEx Freight. They contacted us to set up the delivery window. Grill was delivered on time land in perfect condition.

I bought the 1200 and absolutely love it. Top rack is great for slow cooking filets for full flavor. I’ve had it for almost a month and tried a variety of meats and some vegetables. Brussels sprouts, salmon, steak, and chicken breasts. Have only use competition blend but going to try hickory and mesquite. Pizza is on the schedule for this week.
