Overall this is a great outdoor screen. I love the additional height you get with this one compared to some other screens I have. I love black matte color as well, it’s so nice. It’s not hard to put together but does take about an hour and is all with the little wrench they give you. But has held up nicely to the outdoor elements so far, so very happy with the purchase!

Well! You are definitely going to need help to put it together. It was taller than I am and needed a ladder to put the last panel on. They do show you alternative ways to construct it. I like this idea but the unit seemed kind of flimsy and I do believe a good wind will take it down. We will see.

I’ve just received my barrier stand and it works great for my balcony. I got it to get a screening barrier between my balcony and neighbors and give me the perfect privacy. The only reason I gave it four stars is it’s a little bit lighter than I expected. I tied it to the rail just to make sure it’s supported against wind. But I love it and it was easy to put together. I just wanted to update my review. We just got some rain yesterday and this panel didn’t stand any wind. It bent completely backwards. Not worth it at all. I added an extra picture to see what I mean

This is a terrible product and I would give it zero stars if I could. It is NOT free standing if you want to put it outdoors in a place where it cannot be bolted down. I intended to use the screen at its full height but when it was assembled it was way too flimsy so I changed the orientation to make it wider and shorter hoping it would be more stable. I put it on my patio behind an outdoor sofa and it was blown over by a gust of wind in a matter of minutes. The screen bent and is basically unusable. The steel is very flimsy and it is not a quality product. I wasted $130 and will now have to figure out how to dispose of this unusable screen. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!

Perfectly serviceable, but kind of flimsy. We screwed it into our wall to create a little more privacy between us and the neighbors. I wouldn’t trust just the freestanding screen. Before we got it on the wall, there was a gust of wind and the whole screen was twisting and wobbling all over the place. Hopefully with the help of the wall, it will have a bit more strength.
