I desperately needed an attractive entryway solution to prevent my kitty from darting outside every time the front door opened. This is it. I attached four 2-inch strips of adhesive black foam to the base, and I can now slide this screen easily into place whenever I leave. My kitty can't jump over it, crawl under it, or tip it over. And I finally have peace of mind. I will add that solo assembly isn't easy. The small wrench provided is far too flimsy and bends with every turn, so I had to find a thicker one. Tightening the many nuts and screws requires considerable hand and finger strength. Once fully assembled, this screen does the job perfectly!
