These were beautiful for the first couple of years, but eventually broke and the solar didn't last long. We still put the remaining ones up even though they don't light up anymore.

So beautiful! These were very well packed and easy to assemble. The stakes are in two parts. You insert the pointed stake into the ground and then slide the top part with the snowflakes onto the ground stake. You can adjust the top stake to get the best sunlight for the solar battery. They are beautiful in the day and gorgeous at night. I love them so much that I bought more to line both sides of my garden path. So pretty that you could use these year-round as they also resemble pretty flowers. You put the flowers on the stem so you can decide the color lineup that you prefer. I think when my order of more comes in, I will alternate the color placement of the flowers on each stem for variety in the pattern. I live in the Northeast, and we get a foot or more of snow sometimes. I like the fact that these are higher to stay above the snowfalls in the winter. You can adjust the height by how deep you hammer the ground stake into the soil.
