I really wish I were making this up. First problem: these are NOT the roughly 6 foot tall bamboo panels shown in the customer photos and reviews. Mine arrived around 4x4 and were basically useless for the project I bought them for. I contacted Wayfair. The AI support system apparently decided the solution to receiving the wrong size was simply to SEND ME MORE OF THE SAME WRONG SIZE. I repeatedly explained the problem. It kept offering replacements and telling me I could dispose of the old ones. Fine. At this point I figured I would stack them, rig something together, and move on with my life. Then the replacement arrived. WITH A WASP OR HORNET NEST ATTACHED TO THE POLE INSIDE THE BOX. Yes. An actual nest. See photos. I had no way of knowing whether it was active when I opened the package. If live wasps or hornets had still been inside, this could have been extremely dangerous, especially for anyone with a serious sting allergy. Fortunately nobody was stung. It felt a little like the bee scene from My Girl, except Macaulay Culkin did not order bamboo fencing from Wayfair. What shocked me almost as much as the nest was the response. Wayfair documented it as a safety concern, but the initial solution was a $41.72 partial refund. Eventually they refunded the order, but there was essentially no meaningful response to the fact that they shipped an insect nest to my house. So, one star. Not the advertised size. Automated support repeatedly sent the wrong solution. Then the replacement came with its own wildlife habitat. The bamboo itself may provide privacy. Opening the box apparently requires protective clothing. Oh yea. First one had spider eggs too. Yuck.

If you get this bamboo and it’s not been crushed, with giant splits (10” long) then you’re lucky! When it arrives well it’s gorgeous! I bought about 12 and maybe 3-4 were usable quality. Plus ten days to get it each time it needs to be replaced. Get it from the manufacturer and ask them to ensure the quantity and you might be ok. Uggg, so disappointing.

Overall feels sturdy. If it wasn't for the issues I had with the ones I recieved it would have worked perfect.

It was good quality and exactly what I was looking for. The only issue was the packaging. One piece was split from shipping but I glued it and I’m ok with it. Getting more and hoping they resolve the issue.

The bamboo is so sturdy and looks great around a pool. Will buy again!
