Nicer than a similar type house I purchased locally. Heavy coat of protective shellac and wood has a nice yellow brown undertone.

Well made and a good sturdy weight. Easy to hang up and attractive. Just waiting now for that special aviary family to take up residence.

There was so much varnish applied to this nesting box that the odor about knocked me over when I opened the box. I was not impressed at all. I would not buy again.

Took one day for a robin to make her nest. She laid 4 eggs and had 4 babies. Great product.
