Spatule de qualité supérieure (Ensemble de 12)

I received this Premium Grill Spatula free from Napoleon for testing purposes. I honestly didn't think there was much difference between top end grill spatulas until I compared my old one (from another "unnamed" barbeque manufacturer whose name starts with the 4th last letter of the alphabet) to the Napoleon GATL007. My old one served my needs, but I guess I didn't know what I didn't know! Over the weekend, one of those thin frozen burgers my kids like slipped through the grill. In an effort to retrieve it ASAP, I used what was close - my new Napoleon spatula and a set of tongs - to lift one of the stainless steel grates on my Prestige 500 to move it and retrieve the fleeing burger. Obviously not what it’s meant for, but the spatula handled it 'easily' with no issue - super strong. All that, and for normal use, it works well too. The front edge gets under burgers easily, and the handle feels comfortable with the non-slip grip. I have only used the bottle opener once, but it worked as expected. Overall, it's definitely a step up over my previous "premium flipper"!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Received this Spatula free from Napoleon for testing. This is actually my third Napoleon BBQ Spatula, all still in great condition. My first was a basic spatula with a plastic handle, similar to this one. However, it's pretty light weight and feels a little cheaper in hand. It gets the job done though. The second is a fully stainless steel one. That one is high quality, with a professional look and feel. The only problem with that one is that when using it in the winter (Ontario, Canada) it tends to be pretty cold on the hands. This new spatula feels like the perfect combination of the two. It has a plastic handle with great grip that is really comfortable in your hand, but a heavier construction that speaks to the high quality. It has performed great so far, easily scraping under food to pick and flip. The serrated edge and bottle opener are also convenient. It washes really well too. I'd say if you're looking for a new Spatula, this is an easy buy.
