My package didn’t come with a remote. I ordered this powered retractable patio awnings with remote. And it came with crank and not a remote

I took a chance on this awning because there were no reviews. First, it has a European type plug, so if youre in the US you may not want to buy this. The outlet is on the left side, which is not where I needed to be, so I need to figure out a way to extend the cord and get a converter to work with my socket. This was a beast from the beginning, and Im good with instructions and am pretty mechanically inclined. When I finally got to Hanging it on the wall I found that the bar was slightly twisted and it was a beast getting it to go into the brackets. I had to drill out the holes in the brackets so that the bolts would line up with the holes. If youre not handy I would not recommend buying this.
