Nice quality and just as pictured and described

TLDR: Don't order unless you are 110% committed (no returns...) We purchased this mailbox along with another one through Wayfair. Very unsatisfied with the item, we attempted to return it. Wayfair not only denied the request (evidently it's made to order/drop shipped from the mfr....) but was unwilling to grant any exceptions. Now we are stick with a mailbox we have no use for are out $100+. AVOID!

If destiny has brought you this far, kindred spirit, let me help bring it home. This mailbox is a beauty. Hefty in a good way, enough capacity for small packages without earning stares from passers-by, classy design, and straightforward installation. I would suggest putting some kind of bumper inside the lid to dampen the sound a bit when it is opened and closed — the sturdy construction translates to a satisfying but resounding clang that announces your mail delivery every day.
