Leaks like a sieve when it rains unfortunately! Rear panel is Not welded or even well attached at the rear of the box...looks great, and wanted to like ...but can't

The box and post look good, but the door feels cheap. The magnet is not strong and surely will blow open if any weather rolls through. Not only do the hinges feel flimsy, but they allow for the dangle swing to add more stress to the hinges. It is not a cheap box and certainly looks better than others, but I expect to have to buy a new one every few years. I do not expect the postal workers to value and be gentle with the door and hinges to preserve our home improvement project of mine. Simple bump stops and stronger/more magnets will make this perfect.

beautiful mailbox that was a definite update and easy to install.

We ordered the patina color mailbox. I have to say it was a great purchase. Fairly easy install. Most importantly, wifey loves it. She could not be happier. Anxious to see how the patina weathers over time, hopefully sooner than later. Definitely a significant upgrade over our old box and really a nice improvement to our curb appeal. Thank you very much. And to think it was just a recommendation online.
