Build durable custom window screens or repair damaged screen frames with this aluminum screen frame kit featuring twenty frame sections in a natural mill finish. Designed for residential window screen construction, replacement, and repair projects, these high-quality aluminum frame components provide a cost-effective alternative to purchasing complete replacement screens. Whether replacing missing screens, rebuilding damaged frames, or creating custom-sized screens, these frame sections deliver dependable strength, long-lasting durability, and professional results.
Each frame section measures seventy two inches in length and features a five sixteenths inch by three quarters inch profile constructed from durable 0.020 inch thick aluminum. The frame stock is intentionally cambered, or slightly curved outward, to help prevent inward bowing once screen mesh is installed and stretched. This engineered design helps produce flatter, stronger finished screens while maintaining an attractive appearance and structural integrity over time. The mill finish provides a clean aluminum appearance suitable for a variety of window styles and applications.
Designed with an enhanced spline channel for added support, these frame sections are compatible with standard fiberglass screen, aluminum mesh screen, solar screen fabric, and pet-resistant screening materials. The aluminum stock is easy to cut, size, and assemble for custom screen projects. For larger screens exceeding forty eight inches in width or height, the use of a spreader bar and spreader bar clips is recommended to help maintain frame rigidity. Intended for use with compatible five sixteenths inch by three quarters inch square cut screen frame corners, this twenty-piece box is an excellent choice for homeowners, contractors, maintenance professionals, and screen repair specialists seeking reliable, professional-quality screen frame materials.
