First the good this is a huge umbrella that seems very well made. It is easy to put together and, more importantly, easy to raise and lower. It has vents to handle the wind and seems sturdy enough. IF that is you have the right weight in the base. The instructions say that you need more than 136 pounds but the base is too small to hold that much sand. We added as much as we could and we will see how well it holds up in the wind.

This thing is massive! Very pretty umbrella that provides nearly full coverage of my entire back deck when fully opened. I haven’t added sand to the base quite yet, but it honestly seems quite sturdy even without it.

Easy to assemble. Perfect addition to any outside space for an extended area of shade
