Our last cantilever umbrella broke at the hinge (in pictures) the hinge is plastic and unfortunately this one has the same type of hinge. With any good breeze, it will snap and fail. The umbrella itself is nice and I like the clasp for securing it better than Velcro ones. We noted that the pole where the crank is leaked water only when you extend the umbrella and has no way for water to run through when you have the umbrella closed. Not a bad umbrella for the price but longevity is unlikely.

Love it! Our old one finally bit the dust and this one is gonna be great. We love the neutral color, and the stripes. It also provides plenty of sun protection thru the day with the tilt feature. The material seems like it will hold up as well!

Top Heavy: The biggest detail (one I overlooked) is that it does not come with a stand that will hold the weight of the umbrella so this only works if you can drill it into a deck or put something on the base. I had to put stones on the base which isn't the look I was going for. So the good: Great shade Like the stripes Adjustable angles The meh: Won't hold itself up The metal scratches itself during adjustment

This double-tier outdoor umbrella looks beautiful and performs well in some areas, but has a major flaw. Assembly was quick and straightforward—took about 20 minutes with no issues. The red color is vibrant and really adds a nice pop to the patio. I also love the tilt feature, which makes it easy to adjust throughout the day and provides excellent shade coverage. However, the umbrella itself is quite heavy and wide, and it doesn’t stay stable on a smaller, lightweight base. When fully opened, it tends to tip over - note the tool bag in the picture. A heavier base is definitely needed to make it more sturdy.
