I ordered it based on the published dimensions, which were true but a bit misleading. It said it was 12” deep, which I believed was the depth of the shelves. However, the 12” deep dimension was the outside dimension of the bottom of the legs, which curled out. So, I needed a shelf unit that had shelves 12 inches deep, but this one was only 9 1/2” approximately. I sent it back and got a refund. The unit is made of sturdy steel and it snaps together. Once assembled, it seemed to be sturdy enough.

Just what I needed for a spot outside. A good size plant stand and durable.
