Looks great, but the lid is so tight that it is difficult to open and close. Day 2, it fell apart when my husband sat on it. The board on the lid popped right off and now there are sharp screws sticking out. Disappointed. I put in a complaint and heard I'd be getting a new seat/lid, but it never showed up. Don't but this bench.

Poorly designed, lid barely opens with springs. Would not buy again.

It’s a nice and sturdy bench. You do have to be careful with the hardware the tension can be too tight and will cause the side of bench to crack.

The screw for the hinge to open the bench wont stay so you can not open the bench. The very reason I got the bench was for the storage and now its just a bench. Its pretty. I really wish it was better made. The hinges are to big, I think, screws not enough to hold it. Maybe I can find some smaller hinges and replace.
