Though these chairs look nice and are quite comfortable, they are a terrible design. The screw that holds them together, is also the screw for the glider, so the chair periodically falls apart, literally. If you glide at all, the screw loosens. My particular chair has now fallen apart for the 5th time. Unfortunately I am 30 days past the return window (i didn't use the chairs immediately). For $1000.00 we have chairs we cannot sit in unless we check the screws first. Don't waste your money.

Besides having to put these together they are great quality. The only complaint is that I ordered beige cushions and they came great. Really disappointing.
