These chairs are very high quality. The wood is beautiful and the cushions are high quality also. The cushions can be washed in the washing machine also. I ordered two of these and they came very well packaged each in two separate boxes. The assembly was easy however in each chair one screw would not go in. This shouldn't be a problem though because of how strong the wood is with all the other screws in. There was also a slight bow in the base on one side with each chair, but it is not very noticeable with the chair fully assembled. I hope to buy more pieces to make it a sectional for our patio. Very happy with this purchase because of the beautiful wood and simple design. They do sit very low to the ground and are great for lounging outdoors.

This is an exceedingly well made chair! It's "ample bottom" is wide and deep and perfect for sitting criss-cross, manly spaced, or hosting several small children. Folks with short legs are advised to use extra back cushions for support. The seat cushion is only 3" deep. It's not thick enough. One doesn't have to sit upon it long to be reminded of the very hard wooden surface beneath. This is not a chair for lounging. Still, it's very stylish and a welcome addition to the household.
