Table basse Briarwood

Ok

This was really easy to sand and stain to match my Bench. I love it! Easy to build. Me and my teen daughter put it together.

Didn’t expect this to be great quality wood due to the price BUT I had planned to sand and stain it for use as a coffee table. The number of knotholes would make it impossible to paint. On opening the box I found that the piece of paper regarding how to contact customer service had been placed face down on the bottom shelf and the ink had transferred onto the wood. The paper itself appears damaged so I don’t know what happened but the fact that there is ink all over the wood won’t let me stain it even with heavy sanding. The only thing that would possibly fix it would be to paint it black, which is the last thing I want. You get what you pay for. Ironically, I will be calling the company’s Customer Service which should be easy since the directions are now printed right on the table wood.
