Our neighbor has the larger version of the Rovr cooler and they have been happy with it- we did some research and were eager to get a good long lasting cooler for the beach. My wife just surprised me with this cooler for Christmas! I was so psyched until I noticed the cheap telescoping handle! It is the same one we have on our cheap cooler we have been using - as soon as a little sand gets in it- it will stop telescoping. In addition, is it bends like it is about to break off- I am sure it will as this is a heavy cooler. If you decide to spend the big $$$ for these coolers, buy the larger ones with the sturdy handles- this model is where Rovr really cheapened up. I must say I am disappointed...

I have been looking for a high quality ice chest for some time. In comparing the YETI to the ROVR, we looked for things such as ability to stay cool, portability and overall function. This ROVR included a dry bin, extra storage bag on top and plenty of room inside. The dry bin does take up half the space on the inside, but it is separated so you could potentially use one side for more drinks. The comparative YETI did not come with a dry bin at all. I also read reviews that some people were disappointed with the wheels on the YETI. The wheels on the ROVR are heavy duty without feeling heavy duty when you are rolling it around. Very easy to maneuver. I also purchased the accessories pack which I know I will love to use. On the customer service side, I mistakenly ordered the wrong color and noticed it on the shipping email. I called ROVR and the guy was able to intercept the shipment and replace the cooler with the color I wanted. Super nice, super efficient. So all good so far. Loving my ROVR.

This cooler is almost everything I wanted. It is surprisingly roomy for being low profile and compact, held ice for days on our trip, and had all the features I needed. My only compliant is the telescopic handle is very loose and feels like it will break right off. I think for the price, it should be more stable…

Other reviews criticize the luggage handle on the 45 model. I have the 65 and that handle is better than the 45, no doubt about it. Is it a problem? well, sort of. The 45's handle does not provide enough torsional/rotational resistance. Example: I was pulling the 45 on stones and grass. The left wheel hit a stone (the 65 would have run right over it) and pulled the 45 creating a twist. The handle didn't provide enough resistance and the handle twisted. This caused me to stop and adjust my trajectory. Not a big deal. However, when you have time constraints (I use my 45 for work), or when your hands are full, then this becomes a nuisance. Same issue when I pull the 45 on and off the trailer ramp. I have to square up so that both wheels hit the ramp at the same time or, i encounter the same situation. Now, it sounds like I'm being picky; but consider this: My 65 can bounce down 98 stairs to get to the vacation rental on the edge of one of the finger lakes, in NY state, without any issue. The 65's handle is rigid and can resist rotation forces from an uneven fall from step to step. Image shows the twist. I love RovR!!! Thanks for listening. Cheers!

I kept getting Ads about this product and finally decided to purchase it. Last weekend was my first fishing trip since buying the cooler. Wow it didn’t disappoint, preserved the fish for over 24 hours. The crazies thing happened yesterday morning I went to grab the cooler to go fishing again. The ice was not melted, despite sitting in my shed in 80+ Temperatures. For 6 full days. I would say this is easily worth the money if you’re someone who needs to keep things cool out doors. My one wish is that they had more masculine colors like black, white, or like a metallic finish. If anyone at the company is reading this. Please make more color options or sleeves/wraps for this product.
