This canopy shade just what we needed to shade our koi pool from the hot Florida sun. Its large and easy to install. Its the perfect cover for any outdoor area to provide shade from the scorching sun on a hot day.

The shade sail is aptly named as it tremendously shades the area you install it over. I got this shade for our Golden-doodle. I wanted her to have a dry place to potty and play outside when it is raining. This eliminates her getting soaked and soaking the house when she comes in. I needed a cover big enough so on rainy or hot days she could use one end for her business and still have plenty of cool dry play space at the other end. This size worked out. I do wish it came with connections in-between the 4 corner ones. I ended up making a connection with a little creative work. The item did not come with a ratchet so I did have to pull it tight by hand. The wires are strong and get the job done. However, pulling it by hand was a little difficult. Other than that, it served my purpose. I am happy that our dog can enjoy the area. I do recommend this item as long as you get the ratchet installation kit with it.

The shipping was fast, it arrived well folded and arranged, we are in the process of putting it up in front of the house. The afternoon sun is very strong, and it is definitely 100% effective at protecting from the sun. The area stays cool and looks like it's made of good material. We haven't tested it in the rain yet, so I don't know how it will hold up. It measures 18x20 feet and requires two people to install; it's easier that way, It includes four support cables.

This sail is going to save our summer. We spend a lot of time traveling in our RV and staying at different RV resorts. Though many are labeled “luxury,” shade is often very limited. This sail has completely transformed our outdoor space by providing much-needed shade and keeps us much cooler. It is easy to set up and pull down. It is sturdy and well-made, and I am sure it last for years. We can now comfortably sit outside, relax, and enjoy our campsite even during the hottest parts of the day. If you are RV people or have a yard with little natural shade, this sail is a great solution.
