Kinda disappointed on this one - not sure how I missed that it doesn’t come with mounting hardware as I read several reviews that stated it did. So that’s a bummer - also it appears this might have been a returned item because the packaging was awful. We shall see how it works in the spring

The reason we chose this shade sail instead of similar options was how many size options were available. The space we wanted to cover was 16x22x27 and AMAZINGLY this product came in that size. Unfortunately what I didn’t understand is that the 0.5-1 foot length from the mounting point to the shade sail in the diagram is NOT included in the measurement. So we should have ordered something a foot smaller on each side, which is really frustrating. The shade sail itself seems well enough made. It’s plastic, so my husband doesn’t think it would last more than a few summers, but we can’t test that. It also does not come with any instructions or mounting equipment whatsoever, so keep that in mind!

The material feels very strong and durable. It's definitely an outdoor fabric/plastic that will withstand sun exposure and the elements. The corners are heavily reinforced in fabric, stitching, hardware, and cords. However, the measurements are where it goes haywire. I already had hookups ready to hang this based on the size I ordered and this came, each side roughly a foot off of what I ordered. I am not sure if the stretch component is supposed to make up for that, but we will see. I have to get different hardware to test that. Additionally, it is not a perfect triangle with straight edges as the pictures might lead you to assume. When taught (even while not installed) you'll see that the sides will bow inwards.

This sun shade came very well packed and includes the hardware. It is a durable and thick material, but not too heavy so that it will sag. After It was hung, it blew a little in the breeze and did not pull the hangers down from the fence poles.

This items seems to be made from durable woven material which shimmers green, black and silver in bright light. The attached triangular rings for hanging also appear to be sturdy. I did remove a star for the lack of any instructions or anything to hang this with. Another similar item I had recently gotten contained cables and ratcheting winches to rig it up.
