Voile d'ombrage Royal Shade

I wanted to love this shade sail. We needed something to cover the pool. I love to swim but can’t be in the direct sun for a long period of time. We thought this would be perfect. The shade sail itself is great quality. The cables and hooks also excellent quality. We had to use all different screws as the kit came with aluminum screws that kept stripping as we tried to screw into wood. So that is very important to know. Also, because we got the big 20’ x 24’ shade sail, it was super heavy to hang and to try to get hung properly. If we had a much smaller sale for a smaller area, we could have done it, but two strong humans could not get this tight enough to look normal. We both had a good laughs and took it down.

We need to get a few more supplies before we can put this shade up over our deck. The size is great and it will cover the entire deck. The color is perfect and once we get the extra poles to attach it, we'll be the envy of the neighborhood!

I wanted to get this installed as soon as possible but as one end requires a post that needs to be cemented required digging near underground lines, we need to wait for "Miss Dig" to show up to let us know it's safe. However, as we all know what shade sails look like I wanted to take a minute to talk about the construction. This is hefty. The ends are crafted with a double row of stitching with upholstery thread (10x the strength as regular sewing thread), the fabric isn't one color but a mix of white and maize which adds a depth to it and will hide dirt better than a solid beige color, fabric is thick and sturdy, and the fact it comes with all the installation hardware is a bonus. You never know what you need until you don't have it, and this comes with everything. I will update photos once we get it installed. Please wait.....

This is a great sunshade and also a great color to get. It keeps it shady but also lighter then if it was a darker color shade. It’s super durable and water resistant. Great product the bolts are also very sturdy so the weather won’t bring it down. L
