Super solid set. Much heavier duty than I expected

I bought the Highwood USA Lehigh 4-piece conversation set through Wayfair in 2022. It was a splurge but I was excited to have something low maintenance. The 12 year warranty made it seem like I could count on the set lasting for years. Nope! A year and a half later, the set has literally melted in the sun and it isn’t even that hot where I live. I filed a warranty claim and was given a total runaround by Highwood’s customer service. They replaced two of the four pieces (three had significant defects) and insisted the damage was from our misuse (not true). Wayfair was unable to help due to the purchase date being over a year ago. I ended up filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in hopes of a resolution, which Highwood never responded to after two attempts by the BBB. It affected their rating though and I would encourage anyone else who’s had issues with Highwood USA to file a complaint and hold them accountable for their poor product and false warranty. And if you’re considering purchasing furniture from this company, my advice is don’t do it. At least not without purchasing the additional product replacement plan, because Highwood USA does not honor their product warranty. Buyer beware!
