This swing set started off great. However, upon inspecting other swing sets I noticed the 4 legs that balances the structure is small which does not allow for longevity. Most normal swing sets are at least 3.6 inches by 3.6 inches. However, the legs on this swing set is only 1 38 inch by 3 38 inch.

This is a great set! We were thrilled to get such a good deal too. As other reviews mentioned, it did take six hours to build and some holes needed to be adjusted, but no hardware was missing. Don’t even attempt without a drill and have a second (possibly third) person to help. The “sandbox” area underneath doesn’t seem appropriate for sand because the planks are too low. I can’t imagine it holding much sand and a kid sitting on top, but it’s fine. We weren’t putting sand anyway. The kids think it’s a little secret hangout to play with other toys. You do need to use anchors or else the set will move with enough kids on it. The anchors are VERY long, so we bought shorter ones because we are anchoring into turf and not thick sod. If you live somewhere where you can have real grass, the anchors it comes with will be fine…. I have the kids swing opposite each other to balance out their weight just in case. Slide is sturdy and fast, but is mounted well for safe landing. The wide swing can hold two kids - that’s been a hit. What I’ve noticed, it’s a set for smaller children… like preferably toddlers. My daughters are 6 and 9 and they say it feels small, but still play on it fine. My oldest will have to eventually crouch and crawl, but kids are nimble lol. My son is 3 and it’s just perfect for him! We already had a party with a bunch of kids. At one point there were about 10 kids crawling all over this thing and it held up fine! Overall, the kids are happy, parents are happy, and the yard looks great! Hope this review helps!

The directions were pretty good but could have been better to tell you how boards should be positioned as a few had to be redone for holes to match on future steps. One of our pieces of hardware was defective as well and had to call to get a replacement part to finish. Over all…great value and my daughter loves it which makes the 6 hour assembly worth it!

Looks great and took a weekend to set up because we didn’t have time to work straight through. Had a couple issues because some screws were missing.Overall it seems great.
