It was a nightmare to assemble and one post was damaged beyond repair from shipping. Wayfair was very quick to get me in contact with the manufacturer, who then needed to ship the replacement part from China, which took about 2 weeks. It probably took my husband and me 8 hours to put together over 4 days. We were also missing 2 bolt sizes but went to the hardware store to find comparable parts instead of reaching out to the manufacturer again and waiting another 2 weeks to finish assembly. I purchased it for our west facing deck so we could actually sit outside in the summer without immediately melting or burning our feet on the composite decking. I do like how the roof lets in some light and the netting and curtains seem to be good quality. I’m not sure how well it will stand up to Wisconsin winters.

I would highly advise against this gazebo. We are stuck with it, but you don’t have to be. The long side lacks support in the center. Physically, I do not understand how they thought the center where to two long bars connect would not sag. I would actually love to see their work on this one because someone messed up a calculation somewhere. So it sags. And that matters because it impacts how stable the roof is. Because the frame dips, the roof dips. That means all of the rain goes to the center and will leak in. The gaskets that are provided are too thick for the pieces they are supposed to hold together with no gap. The result is a gap - because it won’t fit in. Which means the two pieces together become too big for the spot they are intended for. So then you have to put it up without gaskets or caulk it permanently. Neither are viable options. We opted to let it leak rather than risk it becoming even more not level. At least the leaks are isolated to spots we can avoid when trying to enjoy our purchase as intended - to be able to sit outside in inclement weather. The curtains are too long and too wide for the frame. Someone didn’t measure correctly. I suppose math is hard, but whoever designed this really needs to go back to school. Since the curtains are way too long and wide, if you close them in a breeze (which is, like, their entire purpose) they blow a couple of feet in, which means you lose that usable spas inside the gazebo. Or you can opt to get smacked in the face with curtains. The bottom line is that this is a fantastic idea that was so poorly executed, I genuinely would like to see the engineer’s math. And their degree.

Very very painful to assemble but is sturdy and looks nice. other than the lack of drainage pipe or mechanism for rain water so rain ends up seeping in from the sides

This pergola is good quality and is holding up really well so far. It was fairly easy to assemble, but did take a couple of afternoons to get it together (2 people). The only really problem we've had so far is with the delivery. A couple of pieces were damaged and several were missing. We were able to assemble the pergola and just add/replace the missing pieces later, but it will take some re-work. It's been a few weeks and we still don't have the replacement parts.

This is a really nice gazebo. Very solid and nice looking, once you get it assembled. It took two of us to tackle the assembly, and it was together in about 4 hours. The instructions are a challenge to figure out (wrong part numbers and the diagrams aren't exactly clear in some cases). Some of the parts came bent and slightly damaged, but we were still able to get the gazebo together and it doesn't impact the stability. Overall it is worth the struggles as this gazebo is exactly the perfect compliment to my backyard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy I went with this gazebo! Not only does it give our backyard deck the shade we need, but it’s also very stylish and modern. I love the functionality and aesthetic of it! My husband and I were able to assemble it ourselves in about 5-6 hours total. There are a lot of pieces, but everything is labeled well so you can organize all the pieces easily out of the 4 large boxes it came in. This gazebo will last us for years and I’m so happy we can spend way more til in our backyard now under the gazebo!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It definitely takes two to set up, but the instructions are easy to follow, and it only took an afternoon to assemble. It is extremely sturdy, working perfectly.
