Been up for a year and screws are falling out, not sturdy. Will be taking it down, waste of money

This pergola is beautiful. The wall of planters was such a unique and fun feature. Very sturdy and very easy to assemble with only two people.

Edited three years after purchase. Would NOT recommend. Not real cedar, and didn’t even last two years before it started decaying and falling apart in places. Also noticed some insect damage (and this was mounted on a concrete slab, not even touching dirt)

Great looking pergola with easy to follow instructions. Took two adults about 7 hours to build with breaks in between. We also used the recommended expansion bolts to secure it to our cement patio. The wood is very soft so it does dent and scratch easily while we were building it but it doesnt look bad at all. So far it has not budged even with the high winds we have gotten in Colorado this week. Cant wait for summer to put some plants in the planter boxes.

Edit I was fine with the softness of the wood because it still seemed structurally sound but after 1 large wind storm, the whole thing has tilted and now all the beans have giant cracks and the screws have started coming out. Picture attached of the aftermath. I have had this pergola for 1 year. Save your money and buy a better pergola made of hardwood or metal Original So far, no complaints! I’ve had it for almost a year and it’s still standing! I do see a crack in one of the beams but it seems structurally fine for now Overall, I would probably have rather bought one of the metal pergolas that have a shade roof but this was less than half the price
