It helps keep the water moving along to reduce the amount of algae buildup. Not noisy at all in terms of the motor itself. I’d definitely recommend this!

Perfect for smaller spaces yet still heavier than I expected. It’s not too noisy when I plugged it in already and it works perfectly with easy to follow instructions. Installation is a piece of cake anyone can use this pump.
