What Makes This Talavera Cat and Pumpkin Decor Unique?
This is not a painted-on cat. The body is modelled into the ceramic, curling over the shoulder of the pumpkin with its striped tail wrapped around one side, its face peering down past the rim, and the pointed hat rising clear of the whole piece. From the back the tabby markings read as thick black and white brushstrokes. From the front you mostly see the pumpkin, with the cat watching over the top.
